1. About us and these terms

This website at greystones.energy ("the Site") is operated by Greystones Energy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). Our contact details are available on our Contact page.

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.

These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle your personal data.

2. Nature of our services

Greystones Energy Ltd provides specialist energy consultancy and independent energy brokering services to care home operators and related organisations in the United Kingdom.

2.1 Consultancy services

Our consultancy services include energy audits, efficiency recommendations, compliance support, project coordination, and related advisory work. Any recommendations we make are based on the information available to us at the time and are provided in good faith. They do not constitute a guarantee of savings or outcomes.

2.2 Energy brokering

Where we act as your energy broker, we act as your agent in obtaining quotations from energy suppliers and negotiating contracts on your behalf. We are an independent broker and have no commercial relationship with any energy supplier that would influence our recommendations. We do not hold client money.

Remuneration disclosure: As an energy broker, we may receive a commission from the energy supplier with whom you ultimately contract. This commission is typically embedded in the unit rate of your energy contract. We will disclose the basis and, where known, the amount of any such commission to you before you enter into a contract. You are entitled to request full details of our remuneration at any time.

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for the purposes of providing regulated financial advice. Energy procurement and brokering is not a regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. If you require regulated financial advice, you should consult an appropriately authorised adviser.
